Senapati Bapat Road: Donald Trump, Chairman and President of Global realty firm, The Trump Organisation has hailed performance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The American Realty Tycoon was addressing media in the city after unveiling a show suite of Trump Towers. This is the first Trump branded project in India developed by city-based Panchshil Realty. Trump expressed his confidence in Indian economy saying PM Modi has got a great spirit.
“I have a great confidence in India as your PM has done a wonderful job. Modi has done a unification job in India that has not been done in so many years.” Trump said.
According to Trump, India is attracting a lot of new foreign investments - thanks to opening up of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and the positive sentiment created by the National Democratic Alliance government at the Centre. Trump said the Prime Minister's Office has contacted him on several occasions.
“We were contacted by the PMO without the PM personally knowing me. The publicity drawn from the developments after elections has been great,” Trump added

Chordia said inspite of the timely completion of the project, Panchshil Realty is adhering to strict global standards of construction. He said cutting edge design of the project will provide a new benchmark of uplifting upmarket living in India
"We signed the deal almost a year back and we have the show apartments ready. It is one of the finest projects on design front. Donald Trump is the most sought after and respected business tycoon and we are excited in partnering him and get him to India," said Chordia

Never Stood for Presidential elections

Donald Trump said he never stood for US Presidential elections despite a number of friends wanting him to contest polls. "I rather do deals and real estate than fight elections. Mitt Romney is a good friend but I rather concentrate on real estate," Trump said.
