Mumbai: Have you ever faced the problem of finding a clean public toilet in the city near you?

Good news for Mumbaikars is that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has developed a mobile app to find a public toilet near the user’s location. The ‘Toilet Locator’ app was inaugurated on Tuesday by the BMC civic chief Ajoy Mehta.

The feature will be integrated with Google Maps, with the help of which anybody will be able to search a nearby toilet. This ‘Mumbai Toilet Locator App’ is available free of cost on Google Pay Store.

The usage of the feature goes like this, people will first need to open Google Maps and then search for the nearby toilet. They can even use keyword like shulabh, shauchalay, toilet or lavatory.

Users will also be able to rate the cleanliness of the toilet which they have searched via Google Maps.
