India is now the leading recipient of foreign direct investment. But the story does not end there. India is also amongst the top countries that assure return on investment," the PM said. "The potential for India is very high. We have to ensure that our policy and processes have to be balanced between urban and rural areas. We are committed to an India with better job opportunities, better growth and better life," Modi added.

Just a day earlier Modi launched India's first International Exchange set up at Gujarat International Finance and Tech city near Gandhinagar.

"India has its unique geographical location right in the middle of Western world and emerging Asian markets. This gives India an opportunity to become one of the biggest financial hubs to deliver global services to everybody from New York to Tokyo. Our newly set up International exchange based in Gandhinagar will be operational 22 hours every day" Modi said among applause.

Speaking at the event, Reliance group Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Tata Chief Ratan Tata and Adani Group CMD Gautam Adani praised the Gujarat government for its fast clearances to business and industry to set up new manufacturing plants.
