Pune: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is organising an in-service training session for teachers from May to June.

A public notice issued by the board mentions that those teachers who fall under the ‘senior grade’ and ‘selection grade’ will  undergo this training.

The senior grade includes teachers who have completed 12 years of service and whose work records are satisfactory as per the board norms. These teachers are eligible for moving into a higher pay grade and hence 10-day training is imparted for skill improvement.

“The teachers have to fill the online forms at training.mh-hsc.ac.in or mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in before January 31,” said Krishnakumar Patil, Secretary, MSBSHSE.
The teachers who want to be experts can also apply for 2-3 days training in April.

The eligibility conditions for this includes that the teacher should be professors in senior colleges or university-level teachers for at least 15 years experience, or in academic colleges or educational teachers or higher secondary school and junior college for minimum 12 years and completed senior payscale training.
