Pune: Cricket Next Academy and Twenty 2 Yards scored contrasting wins to storm into the semifinals of the Under-13 Damle Cricket tournament at the Aagashe College Ground on Wednesday.

Manliv Singh Ghai scored with 64 (53b, 11x4) as Cricket Next Academy posted 141 for 5 against Deccan Gymkhana.
Chasing a challenging target, Deccan Gymkhana’s batting line-up crumbled like a pack of cards with only Uday Pawar (23-32b, 2x4) reaching the double digit figures.

In the fourth quarterfinal, Twenty 2 Yards scored 149 for the loss of one wicket thanks to Samarth Kalbhor’s unbeaten 47 (56b, 4x4) and Sufiyan Sayyed adding a masterful 64 (56b, 6x4).

Jus Cricket Academy wasted too many balls and ended up increasing the required run rate before closing the chase at 108 for 1. Shiv Harpale remained unbeaten on 37 off 52 balls, while Aryan Manhas scored 68-ball 50.
